I made a visit to the National Bison Range during a family roadtrip in 2002 and snapped these images of the magnificent beasts.
The National Bison Range is located in Northwestern Montana in the town of Moiese. It’s a self-guided tour through the compound. Driving along the gravel roads at our own pace allowed us the opportunity to dwell, take photos and witness the behavior of many Buffalo.
More information regarding the National Bison Range can be found at the official U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service website and in online articles at gonorthwest.com and bigskyfishing.com.
